Lil' Sunshine Childcare is an American Sign Language (ASL) daycare and a one-of-a-kind experience here in Bend. We teach the children ASL and also speak Spanish with them daily offering children the opportunity to learn to communicate and express themselves at a very early age.

Our Philosophy - Increase your baby's activity
Placing baby on the floor is the best way for baby to move around and get some exercise. Babies love to play, move and wiggle around. Being on the floor, in a safe environment, allows babies to stretch, reach and kick, which helps strengthen their muscles and increase their physical activity.

Hi!! My name is Tracy Howard, founder of Lil' Sunshine 🌞 Childcare! I have been in this childcare center for 37 years. We have a 24 yr old son. I love ❤️ children! I love to travel, camping, quilting, church and our cats!

My name is Kathy i have 4 years of experience! I absolutely love being around kids, I’ve always have growing up, always babysat my cousins or family friends. I never really thought of working in the childcare industry, always thought about being a makeup artist. Until it was presented to me, the most important thing about being in the childcare industry is nurturing Any kid, and helping their needs.
FUN FACTS. I love traveling with family, favorite color is blue. Favorite hobby is Coloring. I am a very funny and warming person. My favorite food is tamales and pozole. I speak English and Spanish Fluent. I have my high school diploma. I have 2 parakeets that I love so much!

Tuition rates will be provided at tours.
Lil' Sunshine uses DHS subsidy rates,
if they change their rates, we follow their rates.
There is a 4% annual increase for each child on Jan 1 st.
